Notes for Antoine (i) Boileau
[13]Antoine Boileau, 4th Baron, succeeded his father (at his death in 1400) in the office of Treasurer, in virtue of which office he had precedence of all others in the seneschalship, except the Chief Justice.

Chesnaye-Desbois skips Antoine for some reason.

[15][BBB]: “It is not known what was the object of the petitions mentioned above; it seems possible that it was to ask for dispositions for the young men, or to obtain relief for them from any vows they had taken. At any rate, this notice of Antoine's substantiates his existence, and bears out in part the statement in '1754' that he was the son of Regnaud and father of Guillaume. At that date, this was all that was known of him, there being no deeds or papers to indicate what was his occupation, or the date of his death; but, adds the account, it appears that it was he, who, after the death of his father, went to live at Montpellier. It is quite positive that he was not Treasurer, as some accounts state.”
