According to [23], he was called John Ives Bosanguet, worked for the Bengal Civil Service, was joint magistrate of Nuginah, a district in Rohilcund, and died on the river Ganges on his way to Calcutta, 20 Dec, 1820, leaving a daughter who died unmarried.
