Notes for Douceline de Pontevès
[DHSP, 21] [47]. Only daughter and heiress of Foulques and Mabile.
[C-D, XVI, 128] [17] gives her parentage, but calls her mother Mathilde, Dame de Callian.
[FM,619] [45] gives no ancestors of Douceline.
[ES, XIV, 10] [44].
Notes for Isnard I (Spouse 1)
[DHSP, 20] [47]. Dit d'Entrevinnes. He received confirmation of his investiture from the Emperor Frederic II, on the 8th of September 1238. He received lands from Guillaume IV, Count of Forcalquier, in 1205-1206.
[C-D, XVI, 128].
[FM,619] [45]
[FM,625] discusses the problem of the name Entrevennes. When this Isnard first appeared in documents, in 1191, he bore the familial name d’Agoult. It wasn’t until 1199 that he took the name Entrevennes. [FM] believes it came from the Comtes de Die, themselves an ancient and prestigious family.
[ES, XIV, 10] [44] has this Isnard as the grandson of Isoarda de Die and Raimond. I shall follow [FM] instead.
