His second wife was Finetta Hale, whom he married in 1831. Why is this interesting? Well, because there is a Finetta Maddy Boileau, daughter of John Theophilus (iii) Boileau, who died young. The names cannot be a coincidence, so there was obviously some connection there, but it’s not clear what, exactly. Maybe just trying to impress the rich rellies.
