737. http://chateau-mostuejouls.com. This is a very nice web site, that gives references for its facts, and pictures of old charters and deeds. It seems well researched and reliable. It’s about the history of the family and village of Mostuejouls. The major source they quote is
"MOSTUEJOULS - Une famille Un village - 1000 ans d'histoire", Henri de Barrau, Henri Dupont, Auguste Galdemar,
which I have never read, unfortunately. They also quote a number of other documents, including Louis de La Roque. It’s difficult for me to know how accurate it is for the first few generations (which is all I use here), but it’s consistent with everything else I have seen.

742. The Seaman pedigree, constructed by Carol Cheeseman and Trish Dixon(?), online at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/trish.dixon/SimeonBEALE.htm. Much of this information is unverified by me, but I have corresponded with both Carol Cheeseman, David Kennedy, and Geoff West, I have checked a lot of the information with that in Berry’s Pedigrees, and I trust their data. They have seen a lot of the original parish register entries.

744. CT2: Hothfield church monumental inscriptions. Online at http://www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/Research/Libr/MIs/MIsHothfield/01.htm. “The following is as far as possible an exact transcription of Mr L.L. Duncan's field notebook for the M.I.s. at Hothfield.  His notebook written up in his shorthand, in pencil, on the site leaves something to be desired. The paper of the notebook has over time become somewhat dirty and aged but is an immensely valuable record of that date. Transcribed and typed up by Christine Pantrey.”

747. http://www.myjacobfamily.com/favershamjacobs/edwardjacob1.htm (and other related Jacob pages on that site). The work of Kenneth Jacob, whom I don’t know from Adam, but he appears to be a keen medieval genealogist, and sensible withal. Not such a common combination.

This is an excellent site, quoting a lot of monumental inscriptions, parish records, and original documents, to put together a nice history of the Jacob family of Canterbury and Faversham (as well as a large number of other articles about other Jacob families). I trust the information here, which agrees in all particulars with other information I’ve been able to collect (about the Barretts, for instance).
