Ewen St. interior

An interior of the house at 35 Ewen Street, Auckland, where Granny and Pop lived for so many years. This was taken the week after Pop died, in July 2006. These are two of the chairs that came from Edmond Castle, brought by Ellen Octavia Graham. Thought to be 18th C. French. I always thought them particularly ugly and uncomfortable. Still do. Nasty things, but worth a fortune.
